Designed in collaboration with artist Thamshangpha (Merci) Maku, this wall cabinet extends his evolving practice of archiving and reinterpreting Naga motifs. Echoing the handwoven textiles of the indigenous Angami tribe, its patterns are translated into solid teakwood - etched, carved, and grounded in a new material vocabulary. The result is a quiet dialogue between craft and contemporaneity, where ancestral forms endure in reimagined language.
